Married couples may quarrel about a whole host of subjects including everything from whose turn it is to take out the garbage to differences in child discipline techniques. However, based on a 2013 Kansas State University; among married couples, money is by far the most divisive topic.
Statistics from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention show that the U.S. divorce rate continues to hover between 40 and 50 percent. Additionally, statistics from January 2015 reveal that nearly 41 percent of babies born in the U.S. are born to unmarried women. These numbers translate into a record number of U.S. children who either have divorced parents or parents who were never married.
